On the French island of Mayotte in the Indian Ocean, children wander, without faith or law. Moses was taken in at birth by Marie, a nurse, who looks after him like an unexpected gift. But as a teenager, the boy bonds with Bruce, a gang leader driven by rage, who takes him into the hell of the streets. In this magnificent country on the brink of chaos, five destinies will cross and reveal the violence of their daily lives.
