Jonas Profil was born on July 22, 1957 in Fort Liberté. A very talented designer, self-taught painter and bold colorist, he created his first works at the age of 18 with Gesner Abélard.

Numerous exhibitions in Haiti, the United States, Switzerland and France are dedicated to him.
