Elkahna Talbi walks the streets of Montreal, with a secret fig tree under her arm. "The fig tree is the echo of the country of origin. It is the brother I never had. It is a little bit of me." What becomes of us when we move from one land to another? A divided being, tormented by solitude, uprooting and the desire to conquer. We carry within us a contradictory world, made of fragilities and imperfections. We shake up the horizon, we exist in a mosaic of time.
