The Villages of God Emmelie Prophet

Entrenched in cities that take their name from the biblical legend – Divine Power, Bethlehem – gangs of bandits pillage, rape and murder, with complete impunity. Celia, a teenager, tries to survive, sometimes by prostituting herself, sometimes by chronicling the women of the city on social networks, where she becomes an influencer. The Villages of God tells of the collapse and banality of evil in this city of Port-au-Prince given over to its demons.
