What is really happening with the ghettos that Muslim immigrants have built in a city like Montreal? Through unprecedented statistical, cartographic and ethnographic work, the author of this book analyzes immigration in an urban environment, deconstructing the myth of the Muslim ghetto along the way. She questions the relationship between ethnicity and its borders and thus defines “Maghrebinness” in the Quebec context.
