The world is my language is the world tour of thought and emotions as the French language conveys them, by the most diverse people, famous or unknown, teenagers or old people, Haitians or French. Alain Mabanckou met them and tells us about them, in a series of admiring and loving portraits. JMG Le Clézio, an unknown from New Orleans, Sony Labou Tansi who, in the Congo, wrote in spiral notebooks in front of two posters of Che Guevara, and many others.

They share these words and they share them. Their language is our world.
