Laure Morali, poet and short story writer, lives in Montreal. With Mémoire d'encrier, she published Orange sanguine (poetry, 2014), Traversée de l'Amérique dans les yeux d'un papillon (novel, 2010) and La terre cet animal (poetry, 2003; 2021). She also edited the anthology of correspondence between First Nations writers and Quebec writers Aimititau! Parlons-nous! (chronicle, 2008) and co-edited with Rodney Saint-Éloi the book-CD Les bruits du monde (chronicle, 2012). She leads writing workshops in Quebec, France and Haiti.
