A magical journey on the banks of the Zambezi. Living on the banks of the Zambezi River, Siku is a young girl like any other, except that she seems to have strange powers that link her to the animals of the region. She has had no news of her father since he left to work on the great Kariba Dam, a colossal construction site that recruits workers from all over the region. To find him, Siku decides to go up the perilous waters of the Zambezi with the help of Amedeo, the son of the chief engineer of Kariba.
Their journey to the sources of this legendary river will confront her with pirates, capitalists, fabulists and dark magicians. But it will also lead Siku closer to the buried secret of her origins... Discovered on Kickstarter, Kariba was designed by the "Blue Forest" collective to raise awareness among young people about the construction of the eponymous dam and the consequences of productivism on the environment and local cultures.
