Description
Michèle Matteau was born and educated in Quebec. She has lived in France, British Columbia, Nova Scotia and, since 1985, has lived in Ottawa. She has pursued a career as a teacher and journalist. A novelist, playwright and poet, she has published more than a dozen books, several of which have won literary awards, including the Trillium Book Award twice.
