This document relates a little-known episode of the Second World War. Since the 1920s, France has occupied German territory with colored soldiers from the colonial troops. During the French campaign in May-June 1940, around 3,000 of them were murdered, outside of any combat action, by German soldiers from the Waffen-SS and the Wehrmacht.
