Racines Bookstore, diversity in all its forms

Librairie Racines, la diversité en toutes lettres

February is Black History Month in Canada. The Duty looks back at different aspects of the presence of this community in Quebec. Last text in a series of three.

The Racines bookstore is located on Henri-Bourassa Boulevard, in an area of Montreal North where places for cultural exchange and gathering are rare. She herself grew up in Montreal North, and has never visited Haiti, her mother's country of origin.
