Gabriella Kinté decided to fight to give opportunities to black authors in Canada to become visible. She launched her bookstore "Racine" to take up the challenge.
The Racine Bookstore would like to give space to authors with roots. "It's really very white, everything we read, everything we see at school especially in history books, the way it's presented. Maybe we need to present several points of view. Vary the points of view, not just see things in one way," she says.
