GABRIELLA KINTÉ: AU SERVICE DES COMMUNAUTÉS MISES DE CÔTÉ

A year ago, Gabrielle Kinté founded the Racines bookstore in Montréal-Nord, an underrated neighbourhood where she grew up. In addition to establishing itself far from university centres and having been crowdfunded, her bookstore highlights works by racialized people, literature that is rarely distributed and even less taught. The goal? To help victims of racism find voices that resemble them and, ultimately, to help us all understand each other better.
