Presented from April to September 2011 at the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain, the Vaudou exhibition will unveil to the public for the first time an exceptional collection of voodoo works from Benin from the collection of Anne and Jacques Kerchache. This selection of more than 80 statuettes constitutes a unique testimony to the passionate gaze of the great collector that was Jacques Kerchache. Richly illustrated, the book published on this occasion will constitute a magnificent reference work on voodoo statuary and the mysteries it contains.
