Princess Lana loves going to Mermaid Rescue School, but she has trouble speaking in class, even when she knows the answer. She may be too shy to be part of the rescue team.

Lana meets a strange creature with a horn named Spike. Spike is a narwhal. When he asks his new friend to help him travel to the Arctic to find his family, Lana happily accepts. When an emergency arises and Lana must use her voice, will the mermaid save the day? Or will she freeze in place?
